Position Description

A leader in trailer rental, leasing, and maintenance solutions, Trailcon Leasing is currently hiring a Parts Coordinator at our Calgary, AB location.

Available Shift: Monday – Friday

What you will do as a Parts Coordinator:

  • Pick up and deliver parts as needed
  • Perform monthly cycle counts
  • Receive and put stock orders away
  • Empty/load and keep parts truck clean
  • Pick orders for mobile trucks & other locations
  • Input parts invoices in the computer system
  • Communicate with mobile technicians to assist with any parts requests
  • Create daily parts replenishment lists and report to manager\
  • Transfer parts on computer to mobile units
  • Perform semi-annual inventory counts
  • Support the implementation and set up of parts testing stations
  • Maintain warehouse and yard in a clean manner
  • Assist parts manager with day-to-day operation of parts room
  • Carry out all duties and responsibilities with health & safety in mind
  • Other duties as needed/required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum two (2) years related parts industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Related mechanical experience in a heavy duty/transportation environment would be an asset
  • Minimum valid class 5 drivers license along with a clean driver abstract
  • Forklift experience would be a definite asset

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, equipment schematics/diagrams, and company policies & procedures
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively with groups of customers, vendors, and team members

Technical Skills

  • Strong computer skills in Office 365 (Excel, Word, Teams), & Adobe
  • Ability to calculate in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, percentage, create & interpret bar graphs
