A leader in trailer rental, leasing, and maintenance solutions, Trailcon Leasing Inc. is currently hiring a Mobile Service Manager. The Mobile Service Manager, reporting to the Vice President, Client Success, is responsible for overseeing both contracted and full-time mobile technicians. This includes ensuring technician staffing levels meet service call demands and conducting quality inspections of recently serviced or repaired equipment in customer yards. The role involves providing real-time feedback and recommendations to technicians, as well as delivering actionable insights to leadership to enhance repair quality and productivity. The Mobile Service Manager plays a key role in supporting Trailcon’s commitment to excellence in customer service.

Job Duties
- Serve as a “quality champion” by emphasizing the importance of delivering high-quality work and ensuring adherence to established quality standards.
- Provide detailed feedback to management on inspection findings, including actions taken and recommendations for future solutions.
- Deliver immediate feedback and conduct reviews with technicians on observed opportunities and successes during site inspections.
- Manage yard coverage and oversee technician attendance and performance to ensure maximum productivity.
- Assess the skills and capabilities of mobile technicians and coordinate necessary training or skill development programs.
- Review and assess the quality of vendor repairs to ensure they meet Trailcon’s standards.•Evaluate and approve service vendors to maintain a reliable and high-quality service network.
- Conduct inspections of recently serviced or repaired equipment to verify quality and compliance with Trailcon standards.
- Utilize Trailcon’s tablet system to document inspections and review work order repair history for completeness and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain key service and repair metrics in alignment with leadership objectives and Trailcon’s corporate goals.
- Analyze and communicate trends and areas for improvement quarterly to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- This role is primarily field-based, requiring frequent on-site interaction with technicians and customers.
Job Requirements
- Possess a 310J license or equivalent experience in the field.
- At least five years of hands-on technical experience working on trailers.
- Demonstrated strong leadership abilities in managing and coordinating teams,
including evaluating performance, providing regular feedback, and fostering employee
development and growth. - Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills to effectively convey and
interpret technical information. - Proven high level of integrity and strong work ethic in professional responsibilities.
- Skilled in influencing and guiding others to drive results and maintain standards
